“He took me up to a spot where we go hiking a lot. So when Ryan proposed I was beyond excited for them and to capture their special day. Maci and Ryan always had this amazing connection between them and I knew they were going to be something forever. We were all high school students and we often hung out almost every other weekend. We were all co workers working on a military base grocery store called the commissary. I met Maci and Ryan a little over five years ago. We have been in this home for 4 1/2 years and are now taking the next steps in our journey.

He had to leave and move back to California to finish school. We lived together in a crappy apartment for a year. We were together for 8 months and moved in together. But I knocked down his walls and the rest is history. I made friends with his friends ( all the boys) and started hanging out with them. He got a job at the commissary as a bagger. I was working at the commissary as a cashier and he moved from California to Utah with a friend. It is a different experience than driving, but some of the best photos are taken when there is shallow water. Instead we walk on the Salt Flats (we provide rubber boots). Note: If the salt flats are wet and we are not allowed to drive on them. Normally, during the summer months the salt flats are dry and we can drive on the salt flats and explore. We will visit he recently completed museum and its exhibits about the WWII bomber training. Following lunch in Wendover we will visit the historic Wendover Airfield, the most complete of the WWII era airfields. After driving west for about an hour we will get our first views of the Salt Flats along the interstate. We will enjoy views of Salt Lake and learn a bit about this unique environment and the Birds and Animals that rely on it.

Our first stop will be Great Salt Lake Marina State Park. Day 1 - Depart from your hotel in Salt lake City.
